JVB teamed up with a fellow, favorite small Pittsburgh business, Commonplace Coffee, to create this special collab release. Jenna (and Abbie Adams Studio) designed the label for Commonplace's 2024 Winter Solstice Blend, then created a special, very limited, run of porcelain pinecone mugs to bundle with the newly released coffee.
Commonplace values craft, caring for people, and community, seeing "Commonplace as a community builder – a way to care for people through making beautiful coffees in neighborhood spaces."
And so, here is a really good mug and a really good bag of beans, made by two Pittsburgh businesses that value craft and community.
THE MUG:
Wheel thrown and individually illustrated, these limited edition porcelain mugs were created to bundle with the JVB illustrated label. Each mug is a little different--carved, inlaid, and glazed by hand. They're finished with a glossy clear glaze.
