Porcelain tumbler, hand thrown and carved.
Each porcelain OOAK (one of a kind) tumbler/vase is handcrafted with porcelain clay. They are individually hand thrown and then, depending on the tumbler/vase, are decorated with a combination of the following: hand carving and inlay with underglaze, painting with a colored wash, finishing with a clear gloss glaze and painting with a 22K gold luster.
These OOAK pieces are so versatile and are perfect to use for a water glass, cocktail cup, small vase, or even a pen, pencil and paint brush holder.
Options descibe each piece, its unique traits and dimensions.
A: Pinstripe - While the inside is glazed, the outside is left raw though sanded smooth and sealed. This finishing allows for a brighter inlay and gives the piece a unique and enjoyable tactile finish. 3 1/8" wide x 4 3/8" tall and holds 9oz.
B: Gold Vase- Handcarved flowers are held in a vase finished with 22K gold stripes that satisfyingly mirrors the tumbler itself. 2 7/8" wide x 4 5/8" tall and holds 9oz.
C: Pinwheel and Pinstripe - Carved pinstripes and pinwheels, inlaid with a bright blue underglaze. 2 7/8" wide x 5" tall and holds 10oz.
D: Blueberry - Hand carved blueberries, inlaid and painted with a watercolor glaze wash. 3" wide x 4 7/8" tall and holds 10oz.
E: Curvy Pinstripe - This curvy tumbler/vase is finished like its straighter counterpart, option A, giving it a unique, enjoyable tactile finish besides its great shape. 2 7/8" wide x 4 7/8" tall and holds 10oz.
F: Round Gold Vase - Handcarved flowers are held in a round vase finished with 22K gold stripes sitting on a watercolor striped "tablecloth" foot. 3" wide x 4 7/8" tall and holds 10oz.
Food, dishwasher, and microwave safe with the exception of 22K gold lustered pieces (Options B & F) which are NOT microwave safe and are recommended to be washed by hand.
