This piece is individually crafted and decorated using earthenware clay and colored underglazes. Each one is hand painted and drawn, so every serving platter is unique. It is finished with a food-safe glaze. The bottom of the serving platter is raw earthenware.
This platter has curved edges, like a shallow bowl. It works well as a statement piece on a table, or to hold fruit or serve a big salad or pasta dish. It makes a wonderful gift, and is a real show-off.
