These porclain mug samples are individually hand thrown and handled, decorated with hand carved pinstripes, inlaid with a bright blue underglaze and finished with a clear gloss glaze.
These tests are functionally fine - the 5oz mug's one-finger circle handle is a bit oval, and the 8oz mug's circle handle is large.
Both mugs are finished with a gloss glaze though the 5oz mug's pinstripes are left raw to allow the vibrant bright blue underglaze to shine through and then sanded butter smooth.
Food, microwave and dishwasher safe.
Dimensions: the 5oz mug is approximately 2 3/4" wide x 2 3/4" and the 8oz mug is approximately 3 1/8" wide x 3 1/8" tall.
Fired cone 8 oxidation.
