Small, handbuilt porcelain box, decorated with carved flowers and ferns. Each one is assembled from stiff porcelain slabs, then carved and inlaid with black underglaze. Interior and exterior are glazed in a glossy clear, making them food safe. The bottom is finished with a matte dark green glaze. This piece is all about the little details and would be perfect to hold treasures or jewelry or butter (fits two half sticks) or tea bags etc etc. Because each piece is handmade, the shape, size and pattern of the product you receive may vary slightly from what is pictured here.
