The pinwheel mug showcases handcarving and inlay with a bright blue underglaze. While the pinwheels themselves are left raw, without the gloss glaze that covers the rest of the mug, they are butter smooth from delicate sanding; creating a unique visual and textural contrast between the pinwheels and the rest of the mug. The mug is finished with a pinwheel and signature carved and inlaid on the bottom.
